Akiem boosts fleet size to 100 Vectrons and orders 15 locomotives from Siemens.

Siemens Mobility has received an extra order for 15 Vectron AC and Vectron MS locomotives from Akiem, a major European rolling stock leasing company.
A framework agreement for the procurement of locomotives was agreed in December 2021, and the order was placed as part of that arrangement.
Between 2025 and 2027, locomotives from this new call will be delivered.
20 Vectron locomotives from Siemens Mobility were previously ordered by Akiem in December 2021, along with an additional 65 units in August of last year.
