A Saudi Arabian agreement to look at hydrogen-powered trains for the country
The agreement was signed by Mohamed KHALIL, managing director of Alstom Saudi Arabia, and Mr. Khaled ALHARBI, senior vice president operations at SAR, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, following a series of meetings where both parties discussed the demand for seamless, secure, integrated, and sustainable public transportation services.
The goal is to actively endeavour to create and implement solutions linked to railway infrastructure and capability that are in line with Vision 2030 while also investigating potential for the future of sustainable mobility in Saudi Arabia.
