The tram disaster in Frankfurt (DUE TO CORONA, EXPANSION OF 4 LINES IS DELAYED BY 1 YEAR)

Frankfurt / Berlin -Apparently nothing is safe from Corona - not even Frankfurt's expansion plans for its tram. They are delayed - as of now - at least a year!
Problem: The 45 trains of the “T” series ordered in 2018 and 19 from the French group “Alstom” (also builds the high-speed train TGV) will not be finished on schedule.
"This is how Corona hit us too," says VGF spokeswoman Aleksandra Malczewski (34). “As a result, plants around the world were closed, which apparently delayed the delivery of parts.” With that, the trains were completed.
