Titagarh Is hiring Special Process expert (bonding, torquing, riveting, glueing)- for final assembly division!
Location: Kolkata

Responsibilities:
·        Analyze existing bonding, torquing, riveting, and glueing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
·        Establish and maintain robust quality control measures to ensure that bonded, torqued, riveted, and glued components meet or exceed industry standards and customer requirements.
·        Serve as the subject matter expert on bonding, torquing, riveting, and glueing techniques, providing guidance and support to engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.
·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new bonding, torquing, riveting, and glueing processes for emerging technologies and product innovations.
·        Conduct training sessions for production personnel to enhance their understanding of bonding, torquing, riveting, and glueing techniques, as well as best practices for process implementation and troubleshooting.
·        Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize process efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality and reliability.
·        Work closely with suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality materials and equipment for bonding, torquing, riveting, and glueing processes.
·        Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to bonding, torquing, riveting, and glueing processes, ensuring full compliance in all activities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role within the rolling stock or related industry.
Expertise in bonding, torquing, riveting, and glueing processes, including familiarity with relevant materials, equipment, and technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams.
Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving measurable results.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards governing rolling stock manufacturing processes.
Certification in relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) is a plus.

Behavioural Skills: Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
