The NSW government has forked out at least $6 million to four consulting firms as the professional services industry cashes in on the state’s continuing push to create a multibillion-dollar rail asset agency.

KPMG, Boston Consulting Group, PwC and EY have completed, or are doing work, for the new Transport Asset Holding Entity, as well as for Transport for NSW concerning the entity. This is alongside continuing KPMG advice to NSW Treasury about TAHE.
