With the possibility to extend, Knorr-Bremse and Stadler have agreed on a long-term contract that will cover a significant number of trains and railcars across several European nations through the end of 2028.
For the trains' braking systems, Knorr-Bremse is in charge of complete maintenance, repairs, and the provision of replacement parts.
Train fleets using Knorr-Bremse RailServices' solutions operate more effectively, dependably, and for longer periods of time.

Siemens Mobility (Siemens) has been named the "preferred bidder" to construct train sets for the Brightline West high-speed rail project, which will link Southern California and Las Vegas, the company stated today.
In order to meet Brightline West's 2028 service launch date, the contract calls for the production, delivery, and testing of ten "American Pioneer 220" (AP 220) train sets.
A 30-year rolling stock maintenance contract is included in this choice, and it will be carried out at Brightline West's Sloan, Nevada vehicle maintenance facility.

ÖBB places an order with Siemens Mobility for an additional 21 Desiro ML trains

Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) has placed an order with Siemens Mobility GmbH for twenty-one more Siemens Desiro ML electric trainsets.
With this order, ÖBB's Desiro ML fleet will number 294 trains, 236 of which are currently operating across the nation.
