Pimlico Plumbers turned over £13m last year, earning managing director Charlie Mullins the title of Britain's richest plumber. The London based plumbing firm is on course to increase turnover by £3m this year.


Britain's richest plumber, Charlie Mullins, founder of Pimlico Plumbers

Mullins, now 54, founded Pimlico Plumbers in 1982 after completing a four year apprenticeship. He wanted to be a plumber since the age of nine and during his school days would bunk off lessons to help a local plumber with his work in West London.

Pimlico Plumber's boasts a 24 hour call out service with a response time of one hour; customers can expect to be charged £120 for a boiler service during normal working hours.
