A joint venture headed by AECOM will provide planning, environmental, and design services for the Vermont Transit Corridor project of LA Metro

The Vermont Corridor Partners (VCP), an AECOM-led joint venture with minority-owned small businesses Terry A. Hayes Associates Inc. (TAHA) and RAW International, Inc. (RAW),
has been awarded the Vermont Transit Corridor Planning and Environmental Study by the Los Angeles County Transportation Authority (LA Metro).
According to the report, Vermont Avenue, the second busiest transit corridor in LA Metro's bus portfolio, which runs from Hollywood Boulevard to 120th Street, needs a comprehensive bus rapid transit (BRT) and rail upgrade strategy.
With a focus on mobility access, equity, and community interests, the joint venture will be essential to its development, design, and execution.
