According to USA TODAY, CSX is one of America's climate leaders for 2023

CSX Corporation has been named one of America's Climate Leaders by USA TODAY, placing among American businesses that have reduced carbon intensity the most between 2019 and 2021.
With a target of a 37.3% decrease in GHG intensity from 2014 to 2030, CSX has one of the most ambitious reduction goals in the transportation sector.
The corporation reduced its emissions intensity by 15.6% from the base year through 2021.
