Alstom secures a contract for the northern Israeli light rail network connecting Haifa and Nazareth

Alstom, in collaboration with Electra Ltd. and Minrav Ltd. as part of the HN - Light Rail Line Ltd. consortium, signed a contract in February 2024. This contract, awarded by Trans Israel company, covers the design, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the light rail system between Haifa and Nazareth.
The NofiT project is valued at 1 billion euros, with Alstom's share exceeding 700 million euros. This includes a maintenance contract worth approximately 140 million euros.
Alstom is responsible for the design, engineering, supply, integration, testing, and commissioning of the light rail system. This encompasses tracks, electrification, energy-saving power supply, signalling, communication systems, depot equipment, and the supply and maintenance of 54 Citadis trams.
