Alstom to undertake a £60 million refurbishment of CrossCountry's Voyager fleet

Alstom has secured a contract to refurbish CrossCountry's Voyager trains, enhancing the on-board experience for passengers.

The contract, worth approximately £60 million (€70 million), will involve an interior makeover for the trains,
featuring new seats and tables, along with a repaint of the exteriors in CrossCountry’s new livery.

The refurbishment will take place at Alstom’s historic Derby Litchurch Lane facility and will cover a total of 312 cars,
including 136 Voyager (Class 220) and 176 Super Voyager (Class 221) vehicles.
