By 2030, Eurostar promises to run its trains entirely on renewable energy

Working with partners and authorities to power its trains with 100% renewable energy by 2030 is one of Eurostar's main goals.
By 2030, 30 million passengers will be able to travel more sustainably and with less carbon emissions
according to the announcement made by Eurostar, the high-speed train network that connects France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and the UK.

The High-Capacity Signalling (HCS) project aims to replace and significantly upgrade the signalling and train control systems on Perth's passenger rail network, enabling more frequent train services. The federal budget has allocated significant funds for various infrastructure projects across Australia, including Perth's capacity signalling program. This also includes $1.9 billion for road and rail infrastructure in Western Sydney, aimed at improving transportation in the region. Queensland will see $177 million invested in bridge and intersection upgrades along the Warrego Highway, while Tasmania will receive $80 million to upgrade the Lyell Highway between Granton and New Norfolk. South Australia's Princes Highway will benefit from $120 million for interchange upgrades at Mount Barker and Verdun. Stage 2B of the Canberra Light Rail is set to receive planning funding of $50 million, and Victoria will receive $12 million for the Bridgewater Road and Portland Ring Road intersection upgrade.
