Deutsche Bahn has awarded contracts valued at well over €100 million to Vossloh

Vossloh and DB InfraGO AG, the Deutsche Bahn AG subsidiary in charge of rail infrastructure, are strengthening and expanding their long-standing, successful partnership.
Deutsche Bahn relies on high-speed grinding and rail milling as essential technologies for forward-looking maintenance and has awarded contracts exceeding €100 million to Vossloh.
These agreements encompass both corrective maintenance through rail milling and preventive rail maintenance using high-speed grinding.
Rail milling and high-speed grinding are critical technologies for maintaining Deutsche Bahn's rail network, playing a pivotal role in extending the service life of the tracks and enhancing their future availability.

This contract award enables the Joint Venture, along with its designers SMEC Australia and WSP Australia, to proceed with finalizing the designs and commence construction of the major works package.
