Following a landslip near Baildon, Network Rail crews start working to restore train service

13 February 2024 (West Yorkshire, England)

Network Rail personnel are working around the clock at the site of landslip in Baildon to restart train services as quickly as possible.

Since Monday, February 5, engineers have been on the scene in response to complaints of fractures in cutting slope near the railway.

The ground dropped during the previous week, and now repairs to the cutting slope and the resumption of trains through Baildon are scheduled to start. Early projections indicate that the route may resume in the middle of March.
