Major renovations are made at Canterbury Station
22 September 2023 (New South Wales, Australia)
In order to upgrade 10 stations along the T3 Bankstown line to metro standards, brand-new elevators have just opened at Canterbury Station.
Since the station opened in 1895, the two new elevators allow all passengers full access to the transportation centre.
A renovated plaza area, a new pedestrian ramp, new steps with canopies to get from the station's concourse to platform levels,
and new elevators are all available to commuters at Canterbury Station to further improve accessibility at the station's 128-year-old structure.
