Mohammed bin Rashid approves Dubai Metro Blue Line project

The Dubai Metro Blue Line project, a new 30-kilometer metro route that will strategically connect important areas in the emirate through 14 stations, has been approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,
Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai. This move aligns with the plan for the estimated one million additional residents that the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan calls for.
HH Sheikh Mohammed emphasised that funding for infrastructure projects is consistent with Dubai's approach to comprehensive city development, which prioritises satisfying immediate requirements while laying the groundwork for future growth.
He underlined that the nation's talent has demonstrated its capacity to drive development, providing innovative concepts that align with Dubai's aspirational goals across a range of industries, promoting advancement and quality.
