On Railigent X, Dellner is collaborating with Siemens Mobility

Key parameters of Dellner's safety-critical Train Connection Systems are measured using sensors and a communication box by the Dellner ConneXion and Monitoring DXM service.

Safety and dependability may be continuously monitored via remote diagnostics, and condition-based maintenance can reduce life cycle costs.

The condition monitoring platform was implemented by Siemens Mobility, a global pioneer in digitalization and transportation, 
for better operation, more efficient maintenance, more cost-effectiveness, and ultimately 100% availability of rolling stock and roadside assets.

Siemens is using an open ecosystem strategy with Railigent X, an application package that uses IoT and AI for rail assets, 
to enlist the top specialists for the most important systems in a train and infrastructure.

• Contribution to 100% coupling success rate and no delayed service

• Dellner gains access to relevant data through Railigent X to further improve algorithms

Dellner will overhaul the couplers according to plan at the beginning of 2023, where the physical condition inspection can be compared to the virtual condition of the data-driven digital twin for each coupler. 

This promising cooperation strategy is being prepared for commercial use.
