Monday, April 29, 2024 - Permodalan Kedah Berhad and RETD Korea inked an agreement yesterday for the "Light Rapid Transit" (LRT) project for
Langkawi Island, Kedah (Malaysia), which uses the MAGLEV Technology System and "Transit Oriented Developments" (TOD) at the State Assembly Hall,
Wisma Kedah Darul Aman.
By signing this Memorandum of Understanding, the parties agree to cooperate in carrying out a comprehensive analysis aimed at determining the project's technical, geographical, and economic effects on the surrounding community.
Chief Executive Officer Mr. Mohd Azad Bin Jasmi represented PKB, while Chief Executive Officer Mr. Lee Changwook represented RETD Korea.
