Significant turning points for the Morley-Ellenbrook line

The Morley-Ellenbrook Line is nearing completion, with all tracks now in place and the second of five new stations finished.
Malaga Station has been completed and will be officially renamed Ballajura Station to better represent its location,
the large nearby residential community, and the potential for future residential development in the area.
This milestone follows the completion of Ellenbrook Station earlier this year and the opening of Bayswater Station in April.
The project, crucial to the operation of the new Morley-Ellenbrook Line, is funded jointly by the Australian and Western Australian Governments.
Approximately 21 kilometers of rail track have been laid, paving the way for line electrification to take place next month, followed by train testing.
