A deal has been struck by Stadler and the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Bulgaria for the delivery of seven KISS double-decker vehicles that produce no emissions.
Three more cars may be added to the agreement, which was signed in Sofia, along with fifteen years of fleet maintenance and employee training.
This is Stadler's first purchase in Bulgaria and a noteworthy achievement for the company's sales in the region.

The new rescue train is unveiled by Stadler and ÖBB
17 May 2024 (St. Pölten / Bussnang) Stadler announces the new trimodal rescue train's first public appearance. At the ÖBB training center in St. Pölten, the unique train with cutting-edge drive and safety technologies was rolled in. Eighteen of the multipurpose, low-emission firefighting and rescue trains are scheduled to be delivered by Stadler to ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG (ÖBB). These will subsequently be stationed at Austrian tunnel portals and sent to the scene to support firemen under the name "Servicejet." The automobiles were designed and manufactured in St. Margrethen and Bussnang, Switzerland. Teams from Network Rail, LNER, Hitachi Rail, and Northern Trains evaluate the trip while cruising the East Coast at 125 mph in order to spot any problems that might affect performance, dependability, or safety. After identification, the cross-industry group collaborates to create and implement solutions. Following the trip of last year, over a dozen improvements were found and put into practice.
