On August 31, 2023, Singapore received Suiso Frontier, the first bulk liquid hydrogen carrier in history.
From September 1 to September 7, 2023, the ship was berthed at the Shell Energy and Chemicals Park Singapore in Pulau Bukom.
During her visit to Singapore, Mrs. Teo was hosted to separate visits onboard Suiso Frontier by Mr. Teo Chee Hean, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security, Mr. Chee Hong Tat, Acting Minister for Transport, Mr. Teo Eng Dih, Chief Executive of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), and important representatives from numerous government agencies and business partners.
