The respected "Red Dot Award" 2024 goes to Alstom and DSB for their design of the IC5 Coradia Stream regional train

Alstom and the national Danish railway operator, DSB, are pleased to announce that the IC5 Coradia Stream train
has won the esteemed "Red Dot Award" 2024 for "design excellence."
One of the biggest design contests in the world, the Red Dot Design Award honors excellence in product design,
communication design, international design, and a range of design concepts.
A historic framework deal worth €2.6 billion was signed in April 2021 by Alstom and DSB for the
procurement of 100 Coradia Stream trains and 15 years of full-service maintenance.
