The Wuhan Metro Line 1 renovation project was successfully completed by Thales SEC transport

The Wuhan Metro Line 1 overhaul project was successfully finished on 20 August in the early morning when the first group of passengers started to board the line.
The first rail transportation line in China's Hubei Province, Wuhan Metro Line 1, went into service on July 28, 2004.
Wuhan Metro Line 1, China's first CBTC metro line, revolutionised the country's conventional metro signalling control mode and served as a useful model for the country's later digital update of its metro signalling systems.
