The hydrogen-powered train FLIRT H2 by Stadler sets a new record for the Guinness World Records
March 25, 2024 (Salt Lake City)
The longest distance traveled by a pilot hydrogen fuel cell electric multiple unit passenger train without refueling or charging,
1,741.7 miles (2,803 kilometers), has been recorded by the Stadler FLIRT H2 and is now listed in the Guinness World Records database.
To include fuel cells and hydrogen storage systems into the current FLIRT commuter train product line, a large number of intricate solutions were created.
It was with great honor that Stadler introduced the FLIRT H2 to the public at InnoTrans 2022 in Berlin.
