Twelve labour unions and Norfolk Southern agree to collaborate to improve train safety

"The importance of safety unites us," the signatories write in a letter to all firm employees.
President and CEO Alan H. Shaw of Norfolk Southern Corporation and the presidents of 12 Norfolk Southern labour unions jointly sent a statement on Tuesday
outlining their shared commitment to working together to advance rail safety at the firm.
All Norfolk Southern craft and management personnel received the letter.
