METRONET will receive a $6 billion investment over the next four years, with $2 billion allocated in 2022-23, as part of the State Budget, which will continue Perth's development by linking communities and creating thousands of local employment.

The Mandurah Station Multi-Storey Car Park is now operational, and all road and municipal enhancement works as part of the Denny Avenue Level Crossing Removal Project have been completed, following the opening of the Bellevue Railcar Manufacturing and Assembly Facility.

The boom gates at Caledonian Avenue Level Crossing on the Midland Line have also been closed for the last time, in preparation for passenger service on the Forrestfield-Airport Link to begin later this year.

METRONET is changing the landscape of Perth, with 13 more METRONET projects planned or in the works, as well as a number of critical milestones to be met in 2022-23.
